Romans 12:2
Encouragement to fulfill God's purpose through Practical Life Application and Navigation

The World Has Gone Mad

The world has gone mad, or so it seems, imploding from all sides.

“But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God – having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.” 2 Tim 3:1-5

So, why are we surprised?

Our pastor said, “Dark is getting darker faster.”

We know this and yet we are still shocked and dismayed. In all fairness, it’s hard not to feel overcome with grief considering the atrocities that are befalling our nation, our communities, and our churches.

Dark is getting darker

The ‘last days’ will continue until Christ’s second coming. Without fear or trepidation, we must do our best to stay the course and stand against evil of any kind. If you feel a sense of urgency to get it right, you should, but not pressure born from panic. Instead, we should behave with the resolve of one who knows and understands the truth, and trusts in God’s every Word.

From Jesus Himself… “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

Friends, the world is not going to right itself. The one and only hope we have is in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. If you don’t know Him, if you don’t have a personal relationship with Him, now is the time to seek Him out. You have only to ask. Don’t delay.

“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heat that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As scripture says, “Anyone who believes in Him will never be put to shame. For there is no difference between the Jew and Gentile – the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on Him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:9-13

If you believe, please share. Don’t feel apprehensive or intimidated. If you aren’t sure, reach out for help. Don’t be ashamed or scared. Salvation is a decision that will change your life. And your future. Guaranteed. We’re praying for you! All of you. Let us know if we can help.

Many blessings on your day and your life.
